After early breakfast, we take you for a morning excursion trip to famous skiing resort of Kufri and Fagu. Afternoon half day city tour visiting Indian Institute Of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu Temple, Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - The Mall & The Ridge. After early breakfast you will proceed to Manali (320 kms/8 hrs) enroute Rewalsar lake. We will take a small diversion from Mandi towards Rewalsar lake, the lake is at an altitude of 1360 metres above sea level. It is considered to be a sacred spot for Hindus, Sikhs as well as Buddhists. Legend says that the great teacher Padmasambhava (Guru Rimpoche) used his enormous power to take flight to Tibet from Rewalsar. In Rewalsar, his spirit is said to reside in the tiny island of floating reed that drifts over the water. Rewalsar is also famous for its Buddhist monasteries. Rewalsar has three Hindu temples which are dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva and to the sage Lomas. After a brief stopover at Rewalsar, we proceed towards the next phase of our journey i.e Manali. On arrival check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight at Manali.
